Established in 1908 by John Millen, “Millen Hardware,” located in downtown Wilmette Illinois, has grown and prospered thru the years despite the challenges of Big Box retailers.

Much of this success can be attributed to the support of the Wilmette Community. And some of this success is due to the extensive list of services offered, (including recycling of fluorescent light bulbs, nickel cadmium and alkaline batteries, and latex paint), and some is due to our program of featuring “Unique Items” many purchased from small start-up companies.

SWING HOOK KITS

QUESTIONS PLEASE ?
We've had quite a few customers asking for heavy duty hardware for hanging swings from beams, and or ceilings. So we found two great  "Swing Hook Kits"  that fit the bill. One is a screw in type, and the other is a machine threaded version for insertion into pre-drilled holes. Both hold up to 225 pounds, and both have yellow chromate protection against weathering.
